I’m liking Slovenia much more than the first time I was here. We spent a couple nights in the Soča valley at Bovec (wish we had stayed longer) and the beauty of the surrounding mountains and rivers has changed my perspective of this country. I didn’t visit the Soča valley last time and so glad we made the trek out here this time round.

| Scene from a fairy tale – Lake Bled |
Like a deja-vu, I am back in Slovenia. It’s funny to revisit a place and walk in the shadows of your once-upon-a-journey, reflecting on how perspectives have changed. Last time I was alone, this time with my other half. Suddenly memories begin to resurface and I can almost see a carbon copy of myself here and there from 5 years ago. I was excited to share with KF in real life what I saw back then. Look, that’s where I took shelter from the rain! That’s the hostel I stayed at! That’s where I took that picture!
